Adahy  (bedeutet „lebt in den Wäldern)

ist ein Malaienbär (Helarctos malayanus oder Ursus malayanus), manchmal auch als Sonnenbär (Sun-Bear) bezeichnet und gehört zur Überfamilie der Hundartigen. Er lebt in Südostasien und ist der kleinste und am besten an eine baumbewohnende Lebensweise angepasste Vertreter seiner Familie.  Sein Lebensraum sind die tropischen Regenwälder. In einigen Ländern ist er vom Aussterben bedroht.

Nun ist mein Regenwald im Garten leider zu dieser Jahreszeit etwas kahl. Trotzdem hat es Adahy hinausgezogen. An den täglichen tropischen Regen gewöhnt, haben ihm die paar Tropfen bei uns nichts ausgemacht. Also nichts wie hinauf auf den Baum und erst mal gemütlich abhängen.

Er ist von Scheitel bis Po ca. 38 cm lang und hat eine Schulterhöhe von 22cm. Genäht aus kurzhaarigem Mohair und etwas Samt.

Das Gesicht ist gefilzt und er hat ein offenes bewegliches  Maul mit Zähnchen aus Fimo. Die Nase ist gefilzt und gewachst.

Die Sohlen sind aus Leder mit kleinen Zehen. Die Krallen aus Fimo mit Draht der die Zehen beweglich macht. Er hat ein Drahtskelett und ist gefüllt mir Fiberfill und Baumwolle.

Now,  the rainforest in my garden, unfortunately at this time of year is a little bare. Nevertheless, Adahy has also drawn  to the garden. At the daily tropical rains used, him makes the few drops nothing off. So he climbed the tree and rest first.

He is from the top to the back ca. 38 cm and has a shoulderhigth from 22cm. sewed from short mohair und black velvet.

The face is felted and he has s open movable mouth with teeth from Fimo. His nose is felted and waxed.

The soles are from leather and the toes ar movable. The claws are from fimo too and are wired.
He has a wire spine and is filled with fiberfill and cotton.
